A Photo A Day Week 35

An exciting week of plumbing and dieting, though you wouldn't know it from the food pics posted... these were really the most exciting food parts of the week. We also had Myrtle, our car stolen, but it's hard to take a picture of that.

[238] Monday 28 June 2010: For dinner we made the first of Nic's recipes: Khao pad, or fried rice. It was delicious and just as I remember it.

[239] Tuesday 29 June 2010: Laura sent me home with lots of goodies: jewelry, books, dvds, a catalog and a record.
[240] Wednesday 30 June 2010: We had a guy come out and give us a quote on a deck. It seems a bit too wee for our massive backyard...
[241] Thursday 1 July 2010: Happy Canada Day! We celebrated with tabbouli...
[242] Friday 2 July 2010: Farmburger! After a particularly long day of camp D and I went on a burger date. I cheated on the diet by enjoying a frosty summer Oberon on tap. It was magical.
[243] Saturday 3 July 2010: These are all of the cast iron pipes that used to live in our house. Once they landed in the yard it was clear why we had to replace them. Yuck.[244] Sunday 4 July 2010: Second recipe from Nic: roquamole. Guacamole + Roquefort. It was pretty good, the blue cheese flavour was very strong. I think I may have gotten a little carried away.
